The Yunus & Youth Global Fellowship Program is an initiative that empowers young social entrepreneurs to create positive change in their communities and beyond. Named after Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus, who pioneered the concept of microfinance and social business, the program aims to nurture the next generation of leaders who are committed to addressing pressing social and environmental challenges.
Through the fellowship program, selected participants receive mentorship, training, and support to develop their social enterprises. The program emphasizes the principles of social business, which prioritize social impact and sustainability over profit maximization. Fellows are guided through the process of refining their business ideas, developing business plans, and implementing strategies to scale their ventures effectively.
One of the key features of the Yunus & Youth Global Fellowship Program is the mentorship component, where fellows are paired with experienced professionals and entrepreneurs who provide guidance and advice based on their own expertise and experiences. This mentorship helps fellows navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and accelerate the growth of their social enterprises.
Additionally, the fellowship program offers networking opportunities, access to resources, and exposure to a global community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for social entrepreneurship. Fellows have the chance to connect with peers from diverse backgrounds, collaborate on projects, and learn from each other’s experiences.
The Yunus & Youth Global Fellowship Program equips young social entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to drive meaningful change and create sustainable solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems. It embodies the spirit of social innovation and empowers individuals to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
Yunus & Youth is dedicated to harnessing the potential of social businesses to foster inclusive economies. Through its programs, the organization equips early-stage social business leaders with the necessary tools and training to thrive in their endeavors.
The Yunus & Youth Global Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurs is a tailored 6-month online program designed to empower young individuals in building, developing, and scaling innovative and financially sustainable social businesses. These enterprises are aimed at contributing to the achievement of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Prospective applicants are encouraged to apply for the Global Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurs to become Yunus & Youth Fellows.
