Eligibility:
All new students at UM are automatically considered for a wide range of entrance scholarships and awards. Most entrance scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated academic excellence in the final one or two years of high school. By applying for admission to the university and submitting transcripts, students are automatically considered for the University of Manitoba General Entrance Scholarships and more. However, certain entrance scholarships, such as the BMO Financial Group Leader of Tomorrow Scholarships and the Schulich Leader Scholarships, require separate applications. Eligibility and application requirements vary for each entrance scholarship, so it is essential to carefully review the specific criteria.
